From General Contracting To Design-Build.
Kestrel started as a general contracting outfit taking on renovation and tenant-improvement work across Chicago's North Shore. As clients kept asking us to weigh in earlier — on layout, on materials, on what a drawing would actually cost to build — the firm grew into a full design-build practice.
Today that means the same accountable team carries a project from the first sketch through the final walkthrough: commercial builds, custom homes, and the renovation work that's still the backbone of the business.
